Civil aircraft stock

In 2020, the stock of civil aircraft with a total number of 1 835 increased by 3.4% compared to the previous year (2019: 1 774). Among them, there were 1328 single- or multi-engine aircraft, 236 rotary wing aircraft, 85 microlights, 165 power gliders and 1 water- and amphibian vehicle registered in Austria. No remotely piloted aircraft were counted in the reporting year. Furthermore, Austria owns 20 state aircraft (1 aeroplane, 19 helicopters).
