Increasing costs in almost all construction branches in November 2020

Vienna, 2020-12-15 – The construction cost index (CCI 2015) for construction of residential buildings reached 109.8 index points in November 2020, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents an increase of 1.6% against November 2019. Compared to October 2020, the index increased by 0.2%.

The index for road construction declined to 107.0 index points (-0.8% in annual comparison), the index for bridge construction increased to 108.6 points (+0.6% compared to November 2019), and the index for sanitary engineering stood at 109.1 points (+0.7% in annual comparison).
